My third car I bought was a Toyota camry. My second I bought for $4000 and put over 2k in it trying to get it fixed and running. My first car I was in a near death call in my first accident when a man in a rush decided to try to pass me while I was doing a u-turn. I have am a person that have been in many close accident calls throughout my life so I am not a person who takes the car to the limit whatsoever. I have absolutely loved the car besides having to take it in within like 3 months to replace a deffective transmission. I have only had the car for a little over a year. They was of no help to me what so ever.Īll problems of the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse I will also not recommend the dealership to anyone either. I will never recommend a Mitsubishi vehicle to anybody. They do not stand behind their warranties or their products.

I will never buy another Mitsubishi in my life.

I know that the cold air intake does not change the parameters of the engine set by the manufacturer, since I had contacted the company that developed the intake. I had a dispute hearing on this matter and that was a joke, you better have someone to go with you that has in-depth knowledge of engines and cold air intakes.

This is a car that I take very good care of and change oil every 3,000 miles religiously, and have it serviced regularly. " I did not pay $30,000 for a car to take out and drive it like a maniac. Mitsubishi reps denied the warranty due to aftermarket part (cold air intake) the clutch being worn and from what they claim as "spirited driving. I have never replaced the clutch in my '88 Mazda, which currently has 190,000 miles on it or any of the previous manual transmission vehicles I have owned. 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse spun 3 main bearings, has a worn clutch at 28,000 miles.
